Sexually Transmitted Diseases / Question
Published: December 23, 2009
Dear TeenHealthFX,
I am 18 years old and I haven't had sex once in my life due to these issues. Since I was 13yrs old I had started to get clusters of white round bumps on the shaft of my penis and on my testicles, they spread more and more and are painless, but I was once dared (which is the dumbest thing I ever did) to try and suck my own penis and after I did I noticed tiny red bumps all over my tongue and my tongue turned gray colored, also there are white bumps that keep spreading and are around my entire mouth, and a cluster of them are on my lower and top lip. The doctor said it was yeast and gave me a cream but they keep spreading and I think it could be HPV, but I've never had sex with anyone before and these bumps on my penis just came and now caused this on my mouth. I NEED ANSWERS PLEASE SO I CAN LIVE LIFE AGAIN!

Dear Tiny Red Bumps all Over my Tongue,
It is not possible for TeenHealthFX to give you a definitive diagnosis over the internet. The only way to reduce your anxiety regarding this issue is to return to your doctor and share your concerns. The doctor can reexamine you and run any necessary test to give you a definitive diagnosis. While you may feel embarrassed, the doctor is there to treat your condition not make value judgments’ about you.
Penile and scrotal skin is different than the skin on the rest of your body. It often looks bumpy, lumpy and uneven especially on the shaft. The penis has thin, sensitive skin, which is prone to whatever ailment the skin can get. This includes eczema, irritation from rubbing and yeast infections. It is also possible to have an oral yeast infection as well.
Get yourself checked out again as soon as possible. It will relieve your anxiety and address your medical issues as well.
