Dear Acne And Brown Spots,

TeenHealthFX knows that an acne problem can be painful as well as make us self-conscious no matter where it is on our bodies. It sounds as if brown spots that have formed on your back may be scars from the acne or pimples.

TeenHealthFX recommends that you see a dermatologist (skin doctor) for the dark spots where the acne used to be. The doctor will be able to evaluate your skin and recommend the best treatment for you. There are some medications that help and a dermatologist will be able to discuss all the options with you. Some medications are topical (applied directly to the skin) or oral (taken by mouth).

In the meantime, you may want to look at No More Zits. It has the proper steps you should take in trying to prevent against further acne breakouts.
