From your question, FX would need a great deal of clarification.
As you can see, FX has a lot of questions and a doctor would ask your boyfriend these questions and many more. This is why it is FX’s recommendation that your boyfriend see a doctor soon.
Bleeding from the penis through the urethra is actually pretty rare in teen-aged males. It could be attributed to something simple like a small tear in the foreskin, but it can also be due to infection or inflammation. In very few cases, if it's painless and following an ejaculation it could be something called vesiculitis (inflammation of the seminal vesicles behind the male bladder). Also, very unlikely is bleeding that may be associated with penile cancer.
So our ultimate objective here is for you to have your boyfriend see a doctor to get a diagnosis and treatment, if necessary. If you don't have a doctor and live in northern New Jersey, you can call the Adolescent/Young Adult Center for Health at 973-971-6475 for an appointment or contact your local teen health center or Planned Parenthood.
