Protecting Yourself Against the Sun

  1. Use a daily face moisturizer with SPF of 30.
  2. Use a chapstick with SPF.
  3. Apply sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 about 20 minutes before going out into the sun.
  4. Know your skin type. Certain skin colors/types are more prone to developing skin cancer.
  5. If outside wear a hat/visor/sunglasses to protect your eyes and face.
  6. Re-apply sunscreen after swimming or sweating.
