Protecting Yourself Against the Sun
- Use a daily face moisturizer with SPF of 30.
- Use a chapstick with SPF.
- Apply sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 about 20 minutes before going out into the sun.
- Know your skin type. Certain skin colors/types are more prone to developing skin cancer.
- If outside wear a hat/visor/sunglasses to protect your eyes and face.
- Re-apply sunscreen after swimming or sweating.
