Dear Wetting Accidents During Day,

Day wetting is common in younger children but can also be found in young teens. Wetting is due to the sudden and unexpected contraction of the bladder. It is often embarrassing and an uncomfortable situation. Your age, the frequency of the wetting and the length of time you have been wetting are important factors. These are critical in determining the cause of your wetting accidents.

TeenHealthFX strongly urges you to see your doctor who can discuss this issue with you in more detail. He/she may perform tests or refer you to an urologist, a doctor who specializes in problems of the urinary tract.

If you would like to meet with a doctor from the Adolescent/Young Adult Center For Health in Morristown, New Jersey, you can call 973.971.6475 for an appointment.
