Dear TeenHealthFX,
I was wondering about this product called "Blousant" it's a pill you take to increase breast size. Dose this really work and is it safe? If you have any information on it, it would really help me out. Thank you very much.

Dear Info On Blousant,
Good for you for doing some research before buying a product. Many teens feel self-conscious about their breast size, either thinking they are too small or too big - we have even devoted a whole subtopic heading to the issue. So please, check the answers to Breast Cup Size and Program to Increase Breast Size for additional information.
Blousant is a product that claims to increase breast size and firmness through the use of ingredients that include plant products (like watercress and fennel seed) as well as other ingredients that the manufacturers claim to be "all natural". The ingredients include items that may alter hormone levels, which can be harmful to females in puberty. Breast size is largely determined by genetics. Pills, creams, and special exercises have little effect on the final outcome of breast size. While breast size is often a focus of magazines, movies, and conversations, how you feel about your body (and more importantly the whole you - your self image) may become more realistic as you reach adulthood. If not, there are many alternatives to creams, pills, and breast augmentation surgery to help you achieve the look that you desire. Before you spend a lot of money on products that may not provide you with the desired result, get some additional advice from a healthcare provider.
While advertisements may claim that products such as Blousant offer quick results without adverse reactions, this is often not the case. This is because products like this are not regulated by the government, and rarely have been through the rigors of scientific experiments and clinical trials to determine true success rates. Also, as a teenager your body is still growing and maturing and certain medications/supplements may interfere with that process. Also, rarely are supplements ever tested with teenagers in mind.
