Dear Bullied-Don't Want To Suffer Anymore,

TeenHealthFX is very concerned about you.  We understand that you are going through a difficult time. Being bullied for years without anything being done would be tough for anyone and to feel as though the staff at your school aren't helping can make the situation seem helpless.  However, killing yourself is not the answer!

First, TeenHealthFX wants you to find help - do not delay!

You need help from counselor or an adult who will get you what you the help you need. If you live in Northern New Jersey, please call Atlantic Behavioral Health's, 24-Hour Crisis Hotline at (973) 540.0100. If you live outside of New Jersey, please call the National Suicide Hotline at 1(800) SUICIDE.

Second, TeenHealthFX is thankful that you wrote because the situation is not hopeless.  After reading this response, please show it to an adult, like your parent or another teacher or your guidance counselor so they absolutely know how tough it has been for you.  Being bullied, for any reason, is taken more seriously now than it has been in the past because professionals are realizing the long term harm that it can cause.

Two resources that TeenHealthFX found two good resources for you:  www.bullying.org and www.antibullying.net.  You can visit these websites and get more information for yourself, your family and for your school.

Please do not shut down or give up!
