Perhaps your question stems from anxiety that many people have felt since September 11, 2001 as well as presently when the media is very focused on world events. Having questions regarding what life will be like with all the changes in the world is very normal. Please remember to take one day at a time. Sometimes the entertainment industry sensationalizes information because getting people excited is a good marketing tool that is often used. Be media savvy, limit the information you obtain via Internet, TV, and radio, and if something upsets you try to find an adult to discuss it with as soon as possible. Keeping your feelings or fears bottled up can increase your anxiety level.
