Dear 600 Pounds - Scared,

It is very important that you speak with your doctor or medical provider right away. TeenHealthFX suggests that you find a doctor or medical provider in your area that can make a home visit. If you do not have a doctor and you live in northern New Jersey, please call the Adolescent/Young Adult Center for Health at (973) 971.6475 for a referral. If you live elsewhere, get in touch with your local adolescent health center or clinic.

Your doctor should be able to work with you on a treatment plan in terms of addressing diet and exercise issues, as well as in addressing the emotional issues that have contributed to your current situation.

Keep in mind that it is very important to work with a doctor in losing weight, as special complications can arise when a significant amount of weight loss is called for.
