Dear Parent's Think a B Is Bad,

TeenHealthFX wants you to know that you are not alone in experiencing this kind of stress. Check out our answer to: Stressed out in School for some tips on how to handle the stress you are feeling. You can also check out our Teen Tips page 10 Ways to De-Stress Your Life, which was written by our Teen Advisory Group.

You do have a lot of things to do - a critical question that you will need to ask yourself for each activity or extra class - is it having a positive or negative on your life? Asking yourself these questions about each of your activities can help decide if something should stay or go in your schedule.

Regarding your parents, we recommend that you be honest with them about how you are feeling and that you would like their support in dealing with this stress. Show them your question and this answer and let them know that you are feeling overwhelmed. They may not realize how their high expectations of you are contributing to your stress. Most parents want the best for their children.
