Dear Raped By My Neighbor,

Your parent's will most likely continue to trust this man until you let them know what he is really like. TeenHealthFX assures you that your parents would not leave you in your neighbor's care if they knew he was harming you. It is critical that you make them aware immediately how you are being hurt. Your neighbor has deviant sexual urges that he cannot control. He mostly like will not stop this behavior until he is caught and forced to take responsibility for his actions. He is committing a serious criminal offense and deserves to be punished for his actions.

It is also important that you schedule and appointment with your doctor as soon as possible to discuss your late period as well as have an overall health checkup. If you are pregnant or have been exposed to any sexually transmitted diseases your doctor can go over the options that are available to you.

Being the victim of sexual abuse is a traumatic experience that can cause can cause a wide range of powerful emotions that can seem overwhelming at times. Therapy and support are key ingredients to recovery. There are many specially trained therapists and support groups that deal specifically with victims of sexual abuse. Coming to terms with sexual assault is not easy but with the proper help and support it can be done.
