TeenHealthFX is glad to see you want help in dealing with stress that you feel from school!

It is very common to start experience feelings of stress in your teen years. This is also the time to learn effective strategies to deal with your stress, not only in school, but also for the rest of your life.

Many teenagers experience stress. There are many pressures like classes, college applications, peer pressure, substance abuse, friends, family, etc, as well as the changes your body is going through. Without knowing exactly what you are stressed out about, we cannot talk about how to solve your problems. TeenHealthFX recommends that you take a look at the question "I.M. Stressed". The answer to this question goes over some stress management techniques that may be helpful in dealing with your feelings of stress.

 

Sometimes stress can become too much to deal with alone. Many people seek counseling during their teenage years to deal with stress and other important issues. If you are feeling depressed or having symptoms of panic attacks, then it is definitely time to seek help from a professional. Talk to your parents, a teacher, your doctor or a guidance counselor. They can refer you to a counselor or psychologist who can help you deal with the issues that are causing you stress. Many times just talking it over with a professional can help a person learn to mange their stress and the feeling associated with it.
