This book is recommended for adolescent girls who are looking for some honest advice about dealing with everything from the changes the body goes through during puberty to forming and maintaining healthy relationships with others. It gives young girls the knowledge and sense of empowerment that they need so that they can make responsible and healthy choices when it comes to issues related to sexual development. The authors of this book are clearly understanding of the material they write about. They are both highly-respected medical doctors, nationally recognized speakers on teen health, and they both have daughters– so personally and professionally, they get it!
