The Inner Workings Of TeenHealthFX / Question

Dear TeenHealthFX,
I love the site and have been using it for about a half a year and I live in Mississippi but want to be apart of it. I tell my friends about it and stuff and they seem intersested. Alot of times people have come to me for their help(most of the time just don't know what to do or just don't want parents to find out). I am 15 and want to be a part of this site(for reference the for teens by teens or if anyway answer some of the questions you get). I want to volunteer. As my planns for future job I want to be a nurse in the e.r. Right now I am reading up on stress and depresson(causes,effects,and solutions). I don't know if a 15 year old out of the state where the hospital is could help you but I would like to be apart of the team here at teenhealthfx. If you need more information please let me know by responding to the message and I will send you all the things neccesary for this task if it gos in action. signed want to join the healthfx team

Thank you so much for your kinds comments on TeenHealthFX and for sharing the site with your friends. We really appreciate it. TeenHealthFX does have a teen advisory board, but it is made up of local high school juniors and seniors in the northern New Jersey area. The advisory board is responsible for the Teens by Teens section. It is an area where these teens can give advice and guidance to other teens on hot issues.
The questions that are submitted by our readers are answered by professionals in the health field and go through a review process, with the final review being done someone who is a specialist in the fields of the inquiry. This can include doctors with specific subspecialties, dieticians, nutritionists; exercise sports physiologists, mental health professionals and health educators to name a few.
While TeenHealthFX would love for you to participate in our Teen Advisory Board the commute from Mississippi probably makes this an unrealistic option. However if you look at the bottom of the “Who We Are Page” you will see a hyperlink to TellFX@atlantichealth.org where you can submit comments or suggestions for TeenHealthFX. We highly value feedback from our users and have implemented suggestions in the past to make the website better. One area that has been very helpful is when readers send in suggestion for “Hot Topics”, Resource of the Month” and “Where do you Stand.” Although you can’t be here in person we love to hear any suggestions you may have.
