Dear Protein In Urine, Kidney Problems Hereditary?,
Certain types of kidney tumor may be hereditary, but not all are hereditary. TeenHealthFX cannot make a diagnosis or give a prognosis (the likelihood of you having problems due to the protein in your urine) over the Internet because we don’t have enough information. We recommend that you speak with your doctor about these questions, especially in light of the fact that you mom has a tumor in her kidney. Your hypertension may also be related to the protein in your urine. A nephrologist or kidney specialist can help evaluate these problems. You should not delay in seeing your physician.
