Dear Almost Fainting From Not Eating Or Drinking,

TeenHealthFX thinks that it is very important for you to meet with a medical health professional immediately. FX cannot know over the web what is going on with you that you are not eating or drinking, however, it does make sense to us that you would be feeling dizzy or lightheaded if you have not had anything to eat or drink in two days. It is important that you tell your parents as soon as possible how you are feeling so that they can schedule an appointment with your doctor, or take you to the emergency room if necessary. A doctor can determine what is interfering with your appetite, and can start any necessary treatments so you get your appetite and strength back.

If you don't have a doctor and live in northern New Jersey, you can call the Adolescent/Young Adult Center for Health at 973-971-6475 for an appointment or contact your local teen health center. You can also contact your insurance company for a list of in-network providers.
