Dear TeenHealthFX,

I have a bump on the upper part of my lip. It seems to have more then one whitehead. I'm scared it could be something. I've had it about four days. What should I do?

Dear Bump On The Upper Part Of My Lip,

TeenHealthFX would not be able to diagnose your condition over the Internet. You should go to your doctor or dermatologist (a doctor who specializes in treating skin problems/conditions) to have it checked out. Once your physician finds the problem, then he/she will advise you how to treat it. Once you know what you are dealing with your fears will fade away.

If you are in need of a doctor and live in northern New Jersey, you can call the Adolescent/Young Adult Center For Health at 973.889.6450 for an appointment.
