Oral sex on a girl is done using the mouth, lips and tongue to stimulate the girls' sex organs (the area surrounding the vagina). If you are planning on having oral sex with your partner, be sure to practice safer oral sex (for guidelines on this see FX's answer to Oral Sex Sores. STD's can still be transmitted when having oral sex. The only safe way to perform oral sex on a girl is with a "dental dam" on the vagina or a female condom. You can lower your risks during oral sex by making sure that your gums, lips, mouth and throat are healthy, and by making sure that your partner, as well as yourself have been tested for any STD's.
Oral sex, like any type of sexual activity, is an experiment. Everyone prefers different methods of oral sex. You and your partner need to find what is most comfortable for the two of you. As long as the time is right and the two of you are ready to be having sex (any kind of sex), the experience should be pleasurable for both people involved.
