Penis Size / Question
Published: April 25, 2002

Dear TeenHealthFX,

I was wondering, for a growing male what should the width of my penis be?

Signed: Penis Width

Dear Penis Width,

There is no certain size for your penis to be. Every male's penis has a different length and width - it is part of what makes him unique. If you are a young male, you may only be in the first developmental stage of puberty, so your penis has not yet begun to "fill out". During the second and third stages of male development the penis grows longer and thicker until the age of about 17. For more information, see our answer to Penis Size.
