Dear TeenHealthFX,
I constantly masturbate, and after masturbation the tip of my penis gets sort of light purple-reddish. Do I masturbate too hard?

TeenHealthFX doesn't know exactly how often "constantly" really is but it sounds like you masturbate quite a bit. After stimulation, your penis may appear purple-reddish due to the increased flow of blood to that area. But although it doesn't sound like anything to be too alarmed about, TeenHealthFX cannot diagnose the exact cause of the discoloration on your penis. The only way to un-trouble yourself is to see a doctor and let him/her examine you. Your doctor can talk to you about the physical aspects of masturbation and give you an overall description and understanding about what this discoloration means.
TeenHealthFX knows this may be awkward for you, but realize that dealing with sexual concerns is common for doctors. If after talking to your doctor you both feel there is a problem, then he/she may be able to refer you to a therapist who has experience dealing in this area.
