Penis Size / Question
Published: December 12, 2001

Dear TeenHealthFX,

I'm 14 years of age and I have examined my testicle area. I have found that there are big, soft lumps on both of my testicles. However one is bigger that the other one. Is this a problem and should I be concerned. These two lumps/bumps are found at the front part of the testicle. Can you give me any information on this? Is it normal?

Dear How Long For Penis To Grow,

Performing a testicular self-exam (TSE) is a good practice for all males starting at age 13. If you check out One Testicle's Bigger, you will find a brief description on how to perform the exam.

TeenHealthFX cannot diagnose you over the Internet.  There are many reasons why you might be feeling lumpy areas.  To really understand what is going on you need to be examined by a doctor as soon as possible. This would be the only way to accurately diagnose and make appropriate treatment recommendations if necessary.

If you would like to make an appointment with the Adolescent/Young Adult Center For Health in Morristown, New Jersey, you can call 973.889.6350.
