Penis Size / Question

Dear TeenHealthFX,
My girlfriend and me want to have sexual intercourse but I am afraid my penis is too small. She saw my friend's penis and said it was small and my friend and me are about the same size. My penis is 5 - inches hard and I'm 15. Please help in what to do.

Many young teenage men and women talk about penis size. Often the size of the penis is equated with how well they are going to be sexually. This simply is not true. As males and females age they tend to realize that penis size is not as important. They realize that pleasing your partner is often more important and you can do this with a big or small penis.
You may want to discuss with your girlfriend the comment that she made about your friend's penis. Communication is very important in a relationship. Also, If you and your girlfriend plan on becoming sexually active there are other important things to worry about such as pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. If you are going to make this major step you absolutely should be practicing safer sex. Not only does this involve using protection but educating yourselves as well. A visit to a local teen health center or Planned Parenthood would be in your best interest. These settings can see you without parental permission and will work within your financial means.
