Dear TeenHealthFX,

After I get done running, or sprinting, my lower left abdomen hurts, not like cramps (though it is in the same place as a cramp would be). What does this mean? Do I have something wrong with my ovaries? Please respond.

Dear Abdomen Hurts After Running,

FX understands why you are concerned, but unfortunately, we do not have enough information and do not diagnose over the Internet. It is important that you see a doctor in order to find out what is wrong.

If you do not have a doctor and you live in northern New Jersey, please call the Adolescent/Young Adult Center for Health at (973) 971.6475. If you live elsewhere, get in touch with your local hospital or adolescent health center.

TeenHealthFX recommends that you refrain from running or sprinting until you are evaluated by a doctor.

Signed: TeenHealthFX
