Dear Wants To Be Skinny Fast,

For a teenager there is no safe, healthy way to lose weight really fast. Many of these products that offer quick solutions are either not good for you or fall short on their promises. Even when they do work, the overwhelming majority of the time the weight returns.

Losing weight is possible, but it involves making lifestyle changes that includes eating healthy and getting regular exercise. By developing these habits, not only will you be able to reach your goal of a healthy weight, but it will also be easier to maintain.

TeenHealthFX suggests that you consult with your doctor and see if he/she agrees that losing weight would be in your best interest. If necessary your doctor can assist you in developing a weight loss plan that takes into account your individual needs. You could also consult with a nutritionist, who can help you set up a nutritional plan and educate you about healthy eating.

If you would like to meet with a doctor from the Adolescent/Young Adult Center For Health in Morristown, New Jersey you can call 973.889.350 for an appointment.
