Dear TeenHealthFX,

I'm 5'9" and I weigh 125 pounds. I rarely eat lunch but I'm very active. Whenever I eat I feel so fat and go on an exercising rampage! I'll workout and run 'til I drop! What can I do?

Dear Exercising Rampage,

TeenHealthFX is concerned that you are so very worried about getting fat - it sounds like it is crowding out the rest of your life. You do not say if you are male or female or give your age. Read the question Appropriate Height and Weight to see where you are. Also, check out Eating Healthy to learn about good nutrition for your body.

TeenHealthFX is worried about you. Exercising in that fashion and skipping meals can be signs of an eating disorder. Check out the question Does My Friend Have an Eating Disorder to learn more about the symptoms of an eating Disorder. More importantly, though, talk to somebody like your doctor, your school counselor or your parent about your fears of becoming fat. Let them know how you have been feeling and how you have been exercising so much. You will most likely need the support of adults around you in dealing with this issue.
