Next schedule an appointment with a mental health professional that specializes in the treatment of addictions for an evaluation. It is important that you be completely honest during the assessment so that you can get the level of treatment that you need. Once the evaluation is complete then you will be given a set of recommendations by the specialist that you and your family will need to follow. Depending on the severity it could be outpatient, day treatment, or require inpatient treatment.
It is very important that you seek help. Alcohol and drug dependence is a progressive illness and left untreated it only gets worse.
