As far as your friends go, TeenHealthFX thinks that it is important for you to start off by talking to them directly about this situation. Let them know that it is hurtful to you that these rumors would mean more to them than your friendships with one another in terms of them ignoring you rather than standing up for you and helping you out during a time when you could really use their support. Be clear with them that it is hard enough for you to deal with these guys spreading false rumors, let alone feeling like your friends are not there for you when you need them the most.
FX also thinks it is important for you to speak to a trusted adult about what is going on so you can get some guidance and support about how to handle things. You can speak to your parents, as well as a counselor, teacher, or principal at your school, so you can discuss how to best deal with these boys about the rumors you are spreading. And if you find that speaking directly to your friends about them ignoring you over these rumors is not helpful, then you can also talk about how to handle that situation as well.
FX is sorry to hear that you are dealing with these guys spreading false information about you and that you do not feel you have the support of your friends right now as you try and cope with this situation. We appreciate that both of these situations can be extremely difficult. Because these kinds of situations can be stressful, frustrating, and even depressing at times, FX wants to reiterate the importance of not trying to deal with this alone. So please talk to a trusted adult as soon as possible about what is going on so you can have the support you need.
