Dear TeenHealthFX,
I’m super scared of getting covid-19. If I’m isolating and my boyfriend isolating we still see each other?

Dear Coronavirus (COVID-19): Can I Still See My Boyfriend?,

Even though you both have been in insolation, it is difficult to say whether you can see each other during this time safely. The current recommendation is that people should stay home to prevent illness and avoid being exposed to the virus.

There are also many questions that come into play.  Have you or your boyfriend had symptoms of COVID-19 over the past 14 days? Do you or your boyfriend live in a household with someone who has had symptoms of COVID-19 or been in contact with someone who has? Are any members of either of your households working out of the house?

TeenhealthFX strongly recommends that you not see each other. We understand how difficult it may be not seeing each other in person, but you have many advantages to still see each other through Facetime and social apps to stay connected. Try to keep in mind that staying home keeps you healthy for each other and your families.

The CDC lists ways to help protect you and your family.
