MENTAL HEALTH AWARNESS IS EVERY DAY!
While May is officially Mental Health Awareness Month, taking care of our mental well-being is a year-round priority. Stress doesn’t follow a calendar! It can arise from school, family, friendships, finances, sports, the future, and more. That’s why learning how to cope with stress in healthy ways is so important. If it is ignored, stress can lead to challenges like anxiety or depression.
If you’ve been feeling:
- Unmotivated or withdrawn
- More tired (or more restless) than usual
- Changes in appetite
- Disconnected from friends
- Disinterested in activities you once enjoyed
- Less attentive to hygiene
…it might be time to explore some healthy coping strategies.
Atlantic Health System offers a fantastic resource hub for all things mental health. Whether you're interested in art therapy like coloring, ready to talk to a therapist, curious about journaling, or looking for in-person services, they’ve got you covered both online and at locations throughout New Jersey.
