Cut on My Vagina Won't Heal
Given that you have a cut that is not healing properly and you think you have a yeast infection, it is important for you to meet with a doctor, such as your primary care physician, gynecologist or an adolescent medicine specialist. A doctor needs to examine the cut to see why it is not healing, as well as review your symptoms to verify that you do have a yeast infection. Once the doctor has done that, he/she will be able to recommend an effective course of treatment for both issues.
If you don't have a doctor and live in northern New Jersey, you can call the Adolescent/Young Adult Center for Health at 973-971-5199 for an appointment with an adolescent medicine specialist or contact your local teen health center or Planned Parenthood. A Planned Parenthood health center is a good option if you have concerns about cost or confidentiality issues. You can also contact your insurance company for a list of in-network providers.
