Dear Masturbation Inquiry,

Masturbation is healthy and normal. This practice does not result in sexually transmitted infections and/or pregnancy, and thus, protection is not necessary.

Condoms are the only form of birth control that protect from sexually transmitted infections, and should be used in addition to another form of birth control for best protection.
